The definition of the minimum focus distance for a lens, which allows to apply distance restrictions on depth of field and field of view screens.
How does it work?
Lens definitions now provide this new field. Values between 0.1 and 50 meter are supported.
In case no value is provided, the default minimum distance value of 0.1 meter will be used (like before).
Whenever you select a lens with a minimum focus distance defined, this will restrict the focus range. In the example below a 70-200 mm lens with 1.4 meter minimum is selected:
